As a lover of authentic Mexican food, I wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant. I went to Rudy's Restaurant; I was not disappointed. It had tremendous food and superb service. I will definitely go and eat there again. It was the perfect family owned Mexican restaurant. When I arrived there, I ordered the most delicious chicken nachos. The nachos had the perfect amount of cheese and chicken. The nachos were one of the best nachos I have ever ate. I received the food relatively quickly, which I could not complain about. The amount of food was bountiful; it was almost shareable. The best part of the food was how inexpensive it was. The ratio of food to cost was unbelievable! The food, overall, was memorable and definitely something I would crave again. To add, the service was exceptional quality. The manager was lovely and accommodating to my needs. I asked for a bigger plate, and he did it without hesitation. The cooks were all related to the owner, which I thought was unique. All the workers there were generous and caring. The workers displayed how much they care about the happiness of the customers. The service was one of the many reasons why it was an unforgettable experience.

This place is terrible! Not only is the food bland and non-authentic, but the service is even worse. The waitresses don't know what they are doing! It took 3 people to figure out how to use their register. The couple before us walked out upset because they charged food they didn't order to their check. The salsa taste like it came out of a jar, like seriously the hot pace picante sauce! You can taste the MSG's in the beans and the rice was dry and flavorless. I ordered ground beef tacos and let's just say taco bell has better tacos. While I am typing this my husband has been inside for 20 plus min waiting for the waitress to figure out how to run the register. I am so annoyed because now we are going to miss our movie. Don't waste your time or money!

In and out. No, not the burger joint, that's how my experience went. Came in for lunch on a weekday with my parents and the first thing I noticed was the dead silence. No music - just the sound of clanking plates. There were only four tables and one of which was taking all of the attention of the two employees on shift. There seemed to be some issue with the bill with these folks so no one bothered to stop what they were doing to greet us or bring any water. Oh wait we did get a greeting, awkwardly on the way out as I told the owner we were leaving because it was too hot. He just stood there dumbfounded, as if he couldn't tell the temperature inside the restaurant was about 85 degrees. I used to come to this place all the time when I lived in queen creek a couple years ago. Man has it gone downhill. Must be new ownership or something, because I've never had an experience like this here. And I'd also like to note that this is a prime location right on the corner - no reason for this restaurant to be empty. There's obviously something wrong going on here.

This Place is awful!!!! My sister and myself ordered the taco salad, first off it was full of just lettuce no meat barley any cheese when asked for more meat they brought out ground beef that had obviously been microwaved and tasted awful. We asked for it to be taken off our bill because it had not been touch and we were not satisfied, the owner came out and told us that she would not remove it, after a few mins of talking back and forth she said whatever and walked away. when we first came in we had mentioned that it was our dads birthday and if they did anything. They responded: free fired ice cream, while after this happened the owner then said that there was no ice cream. The servers were great but the owner has no idea how to run a business or cook authentic Mexican food.

Never been here. Needless to say, I will not return or recommend this to anyone. Went on a Saturday took 45 minutes to get our food. Then the waitress asked five minutes later if I needed a to go box. Are you kidding me?! HORRIBLE

Horrible place 1st the manager/owner argued with the waitress in front of us. Then after the food came out they brought our utensils had to look at our food while waiting for them. We were the only customers there, that should have been our clue to leave. The manager/owner needs to wake up and figure out he shouldn't argue in front of customers. The food had no flavor, and their oil is on the edge of being rancid. Overall I don't recommend this place. No atmospher and ok food.

Just tried this place for the first time tonight! Loved the free chips and salsa! The salsa is the kind that the spice sneaks up on you but the flavor is so good you don't want to stop eating it. I had the machaca tacos, the meat was super tender and had great flavor and spice. My husband had the Sonoran enchiladas again super good flavor on the meat, and the thick flour tortilla was awesome. The beans and rice were fantastic as well. This is a small locally owned place that does food right, the price is wonderful as well. Give this place a shot the next time you want good Mexican food in queen creek!

Cheap lunch or dinner spot. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment on that. Guacamole and chips were good. Salsa was hot. I had fish tacos (street tacos so small), they were ok a little too much cabbage. We also has taco salad, and tacos both with ground beef. Ground beef a little dry. Food was out fast. Pepsi products served. Service was good.

This is a decent eatery in the heart of old town Queen Creek. The place is spacious, and the service is fine. The food is good, not spectacular; the enchilada dinner I ordered here is comparable to Mi Patio's in Phoenix, though the latter serves bigger portions.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
